When your sticky pad does not not stick to your car dash you you simply need to clean your dash where the cell phone pad rests with rubbing alcohol. There is a residue of a cleaner such as Armor All on your dash - even when you applied it 6 months ago. Many cleaners have a silicone base in it and it will prevent our sticky pads from sticking. To prove that your dash has this silicone base substance on it, get a piece of duct tape (or even masking tape) and see if these tapes will stick to your dash? These tapes will not stick to your dash with a silicon residue and thus, our sticky pads can t stick to it either. Try the above solution and the above test to see if you dash has residue. This should fix this issue.
