Inspired by the azure blue waters of the Caribbean Sea, this model of the Architect series is produced in unique Azure Blue metallic color and is rich in rare hues. To achieve such complex hues many trials were conducted with different color pallets until the desirable color was finally produced. Multilayers of translucent lacquer were applied on the solid brass body, after the guilloche engraving and painting were finished. Each of the layers of clear translucent lacquer undergoes manual polishing to add gradual increase in luster that enhances the finish. Each pen has a screw-on cap that secures on the pen barrel in capped position. However, to post the cap on the barrel s end, one must firmly press down on top of cap until it clicks. All fittings are .999 platinum plated. Each pen is individually numbered, and produced in a limited edition. Fine point German-made Xezo ruby rolling ball refill provides smooth skip-free writing. Total writing length of refill exceeds 3280ft/1000m. Original rollerball refill is selectively interchangeable with a variety of commercially available rollerball pen refills
