Description
Before setup, please make sure:
a. Your Wi-Fi network is 2.4 GHz
b. Your Wi-Fi SSID and password do not contain the following characters " = &`
Setup Steps
1. Plug in the power adapter and make sure the LED indicator lights up steadily. 2. Wait for 20 seconds, your Wi-Fi camera will begin to rotate as it initializes
3. After initialized, wait for 10 seconds for the camera to make continuous sounds, which means it s ready to be connected.
4. Connect your mobile device to your Wi-Fi network, download the iMegaCam app and launch the app.
5. Tap add camera to begin setting up your camera.
6. Tap wireless installation, scan the QR code on the bottom of the camera. (make sure the LED indicator lights up steadily)
7. Turn up the volume of your mobile phone, then enter the password of your Wi-Fi (make sure the password is correct), then tap apply. Tap yes, and "wait for connecting".
8. Wait for 40 seconds for the camera to connect to your Wi-Fi network, and you will be prompted to change the password of the camera(the default password is admin),meanwhile, the camera will make a sound, which means it is connected to your Wi-Fi successfully.
9. Tap camera to access to your live stream. tap the icon on the right to set more functions.
In case your camera cannot be connected, please follow 3 steps to reset your camera
1. Plug the power adapter and make sure the LED indicator lights up steadily
2. Use a needle to press and hold the reset button on the back of the camera for 10 seconds, make sure the needle is perpendicular to the bottom of the camera. Then you will hear a sound, which means it s reset successfully.
3. In case you do not hear a sound, please try again. After reset, please wait for 20 seconds for the camera to initialize, and follow the above mentioned steps to set up your camera.
