Step 4: Place your iPhone on a Qi wireless charging pad for it to begin to charge

The receiver patch will work well with most phone cases (excluding the armor phone cases).
Because the Qi standard of wireless charging uses magnetic induction, the charging receiver patch will not work under any phone cases with metal or magnetic materials.
