This disorientation can lead to agitation and confusion. This Dementia Clock clearly displays the Time and Date and Day of the Week, whereby each day is divided into 4 cycles - Morning, Afternoon, Evening & Night. It has an internal clock whose time is adjustable via the menu setup buttons. Helps with time orientation for the period of the day, The Day Clock is a great aid & self help product for anyone experiencing Dementia, Alzheimer s or memory loss. It makes a great gift for our aging population and assists in managing their care. Our design features a simple and clear display showing the DAY of the WEEK and the Day Cycle as either MORNING, AFTERNOON, EVENING or NIGHT. The clock enables independence among seniors & helps in their schedule and time management. It can be used as either a desk clock or a wall mounted clock and is very beneficial for the elderly population, stroke victims, people with Dementia or early stages of Alzheimer s, who can often get confused and not know what day of the week it is. The clock runs using the AC adapter that is included. However, there is an internal battery that maintains the time when unplugged, so that when you plug it in either for the first time or after it is unplugged for any reason, it will display the correct day of the week and the current cycle of the day (i.e. morning, afternoon, evening or night).
