The VIAIR 450P Automatic Function Portable Air Compressor is the only 100-percent duty cycle portable compressor on the market, and can run for extended periods of time depending on your environment. Its automatic pressure regulation system is designed to maintain an internal tank pressure of 145 PSI by cycling power to the compressor motor. This compressor is also equipped with a detachable gas-station-style inflation gun, which allows you to easily fill tires with a simple squeeze of the handle. This inflation gun can also show current tire pressure, so you don t need an additional pressure gauge.
The 450P Automatic is VIAIR s first Automatic shutoff function portable compressor and is rated for use with most any size tire. Powered by an easy-to-establish temporary connection to a 12-volt battery power source, this 100% duty cycle unit is capable of pressures up to 150 PSI continuously without the need to be rested. The 450P Automatic comes with a range of accessories stowable in its soft carry case, including a convenient close-ended gas station-style air gun.

More than just a compressor, the 450P is a complete portable compression system, coming complete with an inflation gun with 200 PSI air pressure gauge, a 25 extension hose with quick connect coupler and lever chuck, a heavy duty sand tray with vibration isolators, a 8 power cable, a heavy-duty sand tray with vibration isolators, a 3-piece inflation tips kit, an inline fuse holder, a deluxe zippered carry bag and dual heavy duty direct battery clamps. The convenient battery clamps allow you to quickly utilize any 12-volt power source, including your own vehicle s battery, to address your air compression needs in seconds.
Compressor duty cycle refers to amount of time a compressor can be operated in a given time period, at 100 PSI and at a standard ambient temperature of 72°F. Duty Cycle is commonly expressed in percentile as: compressor on time (compressor on time + off time) %.
