The Mistral slices in 2 directions with a double-sided stainless steel micro-serrated blade, so it slices twice as fast. Slices and juliennes in 3 different thicknesses. Designed to securely use directly on the prep-surface or safely use in a hand-held vertical position. Safety settings and markings, in concert with a non-skid base and hand guard, make Mistral the ultimate kitchen tool.
- SLICES IN TWO DIRECTIONS: The Mistral is one of the only mandolines in the market that slices in 2 directions, in the down-stroke and up-stroke, cutting your favorite fruits and veggies twice as fast.
- BUILT-IN JULIENNE: With a turn of a knob, julienne blades rise up to create perfectly even julienne fruits and vegetables. No detachable parts with exposed blades like other mandolines on the market.
- THREE THICKNESS SETTINGS: Slice and julienne fruits and vegetables evenly in 3 different thicknesses: 1 millimeter (mm), 2 mm, or 3 mm.
- NON-SLIP BASE: Includes a non-slip base which grips the cutting surface preventing the mandoline from slipping and sliding when handled. The non-slip base also allows you use the mandoline in the up-right position with either hand without fear of sliding.
- SAFETY LOCK & HAND GUARD: In the locked position, the Mistral Mandoline has no exposed blades and is safe to the touch. Includes a hand guard to keep your hands and fingers away from the blade.
