The safety cap helps manage the floaters movement. The pads can disintegrate and may malfunction the motor if not changed.Troubleshooting Steps:
1. Remove the water tank,
2. There is a water valve at the base of the humidifier, Remove the cap by pulling it softly.
3. There is a plastic Washer ring inside, remove the ring, dry it off with a towel etc. place the washer back in, put the water valve cap back on , MAKE SURE THE WATER VALVE IS PUSH IN TIGHTLY.
4. put the water tank back on plug in the humidifier.
