Tygon E-1000 Non-DEHP Laboratory Tubing, 5/16" ID, 7/16" OD, 1/16" Wall, 50 Length, Clear

This clear plastic tubing is made of Tygon formulation E-1000 polyvinyl chloride (PVC), contains non-Di(2-ethlhexyl)phthalate (DEHP) plasticizers, and is softer than other Tygon tubing to accommodate the transfer of fluids in low torque pump applications. The clear tubing provides unobstructed visual monitoring of flow. The Tygon formulation E-1000 polyvinyl chloride (PVC) resists many corrosive chemicals used in laboratories, and it retains its flexibility in low temperatures. The tubing contains only non-Di(2-ethlhexyl)phthalate (DEHP) plasticizers to prevent the contamination and premature tube embrittlement often caused by DEHP plasticizers. The tubing has a working temperature range of -75 to 125 degrees F, a durometer (hardness) of 40A, and working pressure ratings that vary by tube size. This plastic tubing is rated as very flexible as it bends more easily than flexible or rigid tubing. It meets U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) 21 CFR 175.300 criteria for food contact for quality assurance. The tubing is suitable for lab use with peristaltic pumps, synthesis and research set-ups, buffer solutions, and drain lines, and in cryogenic applications, among others.
