The cable consists of 4 individual wires. The strands inside are thicker and more sufficient and durable than some cheaply-made wires on the market. Each of the 4 individual wires consists of pure copper threads inside, more than sufficient for the LEDs they d be expending.
If you are not using RGB, you can split the wires in sets of 2s and basically double the lengths.
