The Original Red Dog Airport Set ~ unlike any other

During development, our designers were challenged with three objectives: 1) the set must be simple and convenient to set up and put away. 2) the materials used should be of the highest quality and last for generations 3) the design should enable the imagination and maximize the play experience. Red Dog Air s design team created an airport set with a patent pending "Lift and Fold" System. With one lift of the terminal building, the airport folds out to play or folds up to store. Once folded, the set has a convenient carrying handle as well as a built-in storage area for airplanes (within the terminal). The folded set easily slides under a bed or stores in a closet. Putting away toys has never been so simple and fun! Red Dog Air s Original Airport Set has been called "heirloom" or "museum-store" quality by many with its contemporary designed terminal building and vibrant tarmac. The crystal clear acrylic material for the walls and roof not only provides beauty and function but allows the eyes to see through the building to whatever the mind can imagine. These ¾" acrylic walls are thick enough to be considered "bullet proof" and will last for years. The tarmac is made of a heavy gauge (but light weight) Styrene® material which is practically unbreakable with normal use. And finally we added hidden design elements for beauty. Along with the choice of materials and the convenient "Lift and Fold" system, Red Dog Air s Original Airport Set uses math for its overall beauty. For centuries scholars have found a strong connection between mathematics and beauty. Objects proportioned to Phi (π) also known as the "golden ratio" seemed more attractive in symmetry and proportion. The Original Airport SetTM uses Phi (1.618) on several dimensions to provide balance and beauty including the terminal building (7 3/8" x 12") and the panel dimensions (14 1/2"x23 1/2"). The aircraft dimensions are ~ 4in. x 4in.
