This Y splitter cable is custom made for the purpose of splitting a z-5500 s control pod signal into two subwoofers and their satellite speaker. If you have two sets of Logitech Z-5500 Speakers with only one control pod, then you can use this splitter cable to connect your control pod to the two sets of speakers! You will have control over both sets of speakers at the same time to make them work together. Imagine the power of 1100w RMS from your speakers.
The length of the cable is ~3 ft each leg (total ~6ft for both legs). 1 Male to 2 Females. Male connects to the control pod, females connect to the two subwoofers.
You need to make sure your control pod can work on each individual subwoofer and then you can use this Y splitter cable.
This cable is custom made to work perfectly with z-5500 control pods. The wiring is DIFFERENT from a VGA splitter cable (A VGA splitter cable WILL NOT work on a z-5500 control pod and might fry your pod, I tried it at the expense of my own control pod).
The cable is made using the top quality cables with triple shields to prevent EMI/RFI to ensure best sound quality.
I have used this cable for a couple of weeks and it works EXCELLENT on my dual system. If your control pod works on both of your subwoofers, then you will have no problem running your dual system with this cable.
