Beautifully hand crafted of the finest hardwood. This pastry board comes with front lip and backsplash to protect your countertops while it stays in place. Perfect for rolling out cookie dough, pie crusts and much more. A full size 18-Inch by 24-Inch by 3/4-Inch. Snow River is best known for producing premium wood cutting boards that are hand finished by experienced craftsmen. The wood is dried in a tightly controlled process to ensure a consistent moisture content which is critical in avoiding wood cracks and splitting. All sawdust from production is recycled into wood pellets for pellet stoves.Bakers will never feel cramped for space when using this huge pastry board to roll out pastry dough or knead bread dough for several loaves. The board measures 24 by 18 inches with a thickness of 3/4 inch and features a 2-inch backsplash that keeps loose flour or stray pieces of dough confined to the prep board. A lip underneath the front of the board hangs over the counter or work surface and prevents the board from sliding during rolling or kneading.

This environmentally-sustainable product is created from reclaimed North American hardwood that has been carefully selected for quality and purchased from mills throughout the country. The board is then hand-crafted by skilled woodworkers in Wisconsin--an area known for its rich woodworking tradition. Wood is hand-sanded and finished with a food-grade oil to protect it against cracking and warping. Periodic treatment with wood oil (Snow River’s own brand is recommended) and hand washing and drying will keep this carving board in good-as-new condition. --Cristina Vaamonde
