SmallRig 2049 Camera Cage for Panasonic Lumix GH5/GH5S (Upgraded Version)
SmallRig 2049 Cage for GH5/GH5S is the updated version of the best-selling SmallRig Cage 1965. On the basis of providing protection and extension possibilities, in order to avoid blocking the front aperture dial and buttons, Cage 2049 modified the frame on top right side of Cage 1965. The bottom side embraced larger area of camera body, so the camera can sit in the cage more steadily. It provides the same mounting points as Cage 1965 does.
User Scenarios
Typical Handheld Shooting Setup: Mount Top Handle 1984 (SmallRig 1984)on the standard threads of cage, mount microphone on the cold shoe. Use magic arm to connect a monitor.
2-Hand Stabilization: Attach a NATO handle on the left side. HDMI Cable Clamp 1822 (SmallRig 1822) can be locked on 1/4” threads. Wrist strap eyelets are reserved on top and bottom right side.
Fast Lock/Release on Tripods: Use the 1/4" and 3/8" threaded holes on bottom to connect quick release plates of different styles.
