Safariland s model 6312 is an ALS Duty Holster with the SLS (Self Locking System) designed specifically for Electronic Discharge Weapons. It features Safariland s Automatic Locking System (ALS), an internal locking device that retains the weapons in all directions, providing secure retention without any straps or snaps to manipulate. With ALS, once the weapon is holstered, it "locks" into place, providing an extra measure of security for the weapon. The holster is completely operable with the thumb, making it very instinctive to use. Once the device is deactivated, a simple staight up draw can be used. The safety on the Taser brand EDW is automatically activated once it is reholstered. The 6312 comes standard with a clip-on belt loop attachment that features an adjustable angle option. This allows the user to cant the holster to his or her desired carry angle on the belt. Fits 1.5", 1.75", 2", 2.25" belt widths. This holster features wraparound construction of thermal formed SafariLaminate materials to protect the gun and the molded sight track. The design features a closed bottom with a drain hole to protect the cartridge. Offered in right and left hand fits, this unit is ambidextrous and can be reversed for opposite hand use.
