3 Question to Ask Before Buying Hammock Straps I wouldn t buy hammock straps without these answers. Question #1: Are they strong enough? The most common complaint I hear with other hammock straps is that they break. When they do, you fall. It s scary, embarrassing, often painful, and people have gotten injured. Ouch! You don t want your hammock straps to stretch. If they do, you could end up cold, wet, and on the ground in the middle of the night. Our straps are 100% polyester, which will not stretch. They are completely different from nylon straps, which do stretch quite a bit, and should be avoided if you don t want to be adjusting your hammock at 3am in the morning.
