For make your knife more sharp, also for our whetstone s reputation, please follow:

1. Immerse whetstone in water and soak for 5-10 min (Til the bubbles no longer appear)

2. Using the lower grit side to smooth and prepare the blade, slide the blade edge along the stone at a 10~30 degree angle applying light pressure

3. Alternate the blade sides each stroke or every 3-5 strokes, ensure the top surface remains wet by sprinkle more water on the top of the stone

4. Once you see dull layer got peeled switch to higher-grit for finish honing

5.Wash the knife with hot soapy water to remove debris and rinse the whetstone to remove any residue. Just keep the Whetstone to dry

Attention:
1. Do not only use the middle of the sharpening stone, please make full use of the surface of the whetstone

2.Do not use whetstone to sharpen serrated blades and ceramic knife

3.BearMoo knife sharpener stone uses WATER for sharpening instead of expensive sharpening oil
