When cleaning dry stains, repeat the above steps & add detergent to the mixture of vinegar & water. When dried, sprinkle baking soda over the area. Mix half a cup of 3% hydrogen peroxide with a teaspoon of detergent. Don’t use caustic detergent. Using rubber gloves, pour the mixture over the baking soda. Work into the carpet & scrub. Allow to dry then vacuum. Caution: Use only 3% hydrogen peroxide. Test carpet for color fastness in a small hidden area before use.
