Permatite high-quality architectural and construction caulk. This specialized compound is a one-part butyl rubber sealant composed of elastomeric hydrocarbons. After full cure, it remains flexible for a permanent, watertight seal. Ideal for wood, glass, plastic, concrete and metals. Non-sagging. Paintable. Water resistant. High solids. Resistant to ultraviolet (UV) light. -40 degree - 250 degree F (-40 degree - 121 degree C). Seals and bonds to wood, glass, plastic, concrete and metals. Solvent: aliphatic hydrocarbons. Weight: 12 lbs. per gallon [1438 g per liter]. Solids content: 85 percent (+/-2 percent). Yield strength: 24 hours at R.T. = 6.9 CORES. Elongation: 54 percent. Service temperature: -40 degree to 250 degree F [-40 degree to 121 degree C]. Chemical resistance: excellent to water and mild acids. VOC: 189 g per liter. F.D.A. acceptability: meets 21CRF175.105 requirements. Shelf life: 1 year. Gray color.
