Extending the Strap
Facing the front of the bag, take the leather sleeves from the strap side and the excess strap hanging down and slide both away from the corner sleeve where the two sides meet. From the strap side, pull the excess strap through the corner sleeve, pulling evenly from both sides until the desired length is acheived. Slide the leather sleeves back in position on the strap side and the excess side. The maximum length is achieved when these is no excess strap hanging down on the left side of the bag.
Softening the Leather
Your Peche bag is made with genuine leather which will soften over time. To hasten this process and help your strap to mold to your body, a simple coating of petroleum jelly or mineral oil(baby oil) can be applied and left to soak in over night. Wipe the next morning.
