OTRIVINE ADULT NASAL SPRAY 10 ml

Description

Decongestant nasal spray - works fast - lasts up to 10 hours. A blocked nose such as occurs with a cold, is caused by excessive nasal secretions and the swelling up of many tiny blood vessels that line the nose. The air passages become narrower and the nasal secretions may block the nose completely. Recommended for fast, effective and long lasting relief from nasal congestion otrivine helps to open up the nasal passages by reducing the excessive nasal secretions and returning the swollen blood vessels to their normal size. The effects start within minutes and last for up to ten hours. Otrivine adult nasal spray is for local application in the nose to give symptomatic relief of nasal congestion, perennial and allergic rhinitis (including hayfever) and sinusitis. Do not use if you are sensitive to any of the ingredients of the spray, or to other decongestants. Do not use if you have had recent neurosurgery. The adult nasal spray should not be used for infants or children under 12 years of age. If you are pregnant or taking other medicines or are under a doctor s care, consult your doctor before use. Ask your doctor before using otrivine if you have heart or circulatory disease. After using otrivine spray some people who have sensitive nasal passages may feel some local discomfort when applying the nasal spray. Other side effects are very rare, but those occasionally reported include a burning sensation in the nose and throat, local irritation, nausea, headache and dryness in the nose. If any of these occur or you experience any other side effects, stop using and talk to your doctor or pharmacist. If you exceed the stated dose tell your doctor or pharmacist. To avoid possible spread of infection, this pack should only be used by one person. Do not exceed the recommended dosage keep this medicine out of reach of children for reasons of hygiene, do not use the product more than 28 days after first opening it.
