The Omano OM116-L offers excellent value for money with all metal construction and glass optics. It includes three objective lenses: 4x, 10x, 40x and a wide field 10x eyepiece for magnification levels of 40x, 100x and 400x. The eyepiece has a lock nut to mitigate against the risk of damage or loss. It is ideal for classroom, home or for use in the field to view cell tissues, bacteria, and fungi. The built-in battery slot uses three AA batteries to power the LED light microscope on-the-go, and an 110V-4.5V transformer can be plugged in when used indoors. The plain stage measures 90mm x 90mm with two spring clips to retain the slides. The dual sided focus controls are a good size for small hands and include a slip clutch to avoid the risk of damage through over extension. There is a rotating pinhole aperture condenser with disc diaphragm . LED illumination is powered by 3 AA batteries or by the 110V AC/DC converter.
