INSTRUCTIONS for writing on the retractable note: unscrew and remove the front of the barrel to access internal parts, pull the "note module" out of the pen s barrel to add your notes and illustrations, put back the note module back into the barrel, turn the end piece with a latch counter-clockwise 5-6 times to engage the inner coil-spring, slide the end piece into the barrel by aligning the latch.
