The Molecular Models 14-OI219 organic chemistry molecular model set for instructors includes 126 color-coded plastic atom parts, 30 orbitals, and 150 bonds in a storage box. This model set allows instructors in grades 7 through university to demonstrate concepts of organic chemistry such as advanced isomerism, reaction mechanisms, and optical activity (chirality) of molecules as well as demonstrate functional groups including alkanes, alkenes, hydrocarbon derivatives, and carbonyl compounds. The atom parts, orbitals, and links for assembling models are made from durable plastic and are color coded to national standards for ease of identification. Atom parts range from 17mm to 23mm in diameter and represent carbon, oxygen, hydrogen, nitrogen, sulfur, phosphorus, halogen, and metal. It comes with 150 bonds, 1 short bond removal tool, 30 orbitals, a storage box, and instructions.
