The MilestonePod remains attached to your shoe for the life of your shoes, then can be reset and transferred to a new pair. If you still have the MilestonePod V2, don’t worry it still works, but with the New MilestonePod and the latest MilestonePod App you get: a new clip-on Pod that is easier to mount (no more unlacing!), longer battery life, waterproofing, improved accuracy, even faster sync time, the option to download data to Excel (V2 or New MilestonePod). The FREE MilestonePod App requires an iOS mobile device with iOS 7 or newer, or Android based mobile device running Android 4.3 or newer, and Bluetooth 4.0.
