Xavier has created a three-dimensional tapestry of sound throughout the entire CD. Each song has a foreground, middle-ground, and background which at times interchange with each other. The created sound eludes to sound paintings that merge, twist, caress, and seduce each other, taking the listener on an ancient journey to the center of the soul s heart. There are more than 12 instruments used to create the music for the CD, like Aztec drums, Mayan and Aztec clay flutes and whistles, and several other ancient instruments, many created by Xavier. Xavier performed on all of the instruments and also composed all of the songs. The sound of the rattles, the drums, and the flutes are alive. The drums vibrate through ones spirit. Xavier plays his instruments as if they were alive and singing their own songs. He has a way of making his flutes and whistles sound like the voices of ancient animals, singing out years of mystical healing. The sound quality and sound textures are of a superior quality.
