This is a Medium leather journal that will fit conveniently in a handbag or easy to carry in Hands. Like all ANUENT books this journal is entirely handmade. The cover is genuine water-Cowhide, stained with a non-toxic Emerald Green dye. The leather is of a heavy quality, and is thick but supple. The cover is lined with black cloth and the edge is laced with goatskin thong. There is an inner flap to protect the edge of the pages, and a Threaded Cover Tie to keep the journal shut. Size: Cover 7 x 5 inch Contains 100 leaves/200 usable sides of acid-free unlined cartridge paper Weight: 250 grams (approximately 1/2lb) Quality: - Paper is genuine cartridge paper. It is suitable for drawing and sketching, and for writing with pencil, Biro, and gel, and with water-based inks or water colour. It is also suited for a fountain pen. The paper is bound in individually stitched folios in a traditional Italian stitch , which is exceptionally durable. You can carry this journal with you in your hands or handbag without fear of its getting damaged. ANUENT love working with leather, but for ethical reasons I only use vintage leather for my books- ie leather from working animals that have come to the end of their lives.
