A 99% More Efficient Mini-Angle Grinder from KATools. Merlin2 has been completely re-engineered inside and out, and now includes 6 great accessories including coarse, medium and fine sanders. Merlin2 utilizes spiral gears to work harder, operate more quietly and produce less vibration than the previous model. Safety improvements include a one-piece cast aluminum safety guard that is both safer and more durable, a switch guard to reduce accidental starting, and more resilient materials less susceptible to damage. The exterior includes a textured neck for better grip and an ergonomic design for comfort with less hand, arm and wrist fatigue during use. The interior includes a new motor that powers effortlessly between 0 - 13,000RPM s with improved efficiency and can be powered by an automobile s AC/DC power converter. A new high-capacity fan and extra air vents on both the neck and bottom allow the new model to stay cooler and work longer. Merlin2 s new circuit board and electrical components are made from eco-friendly materials and are RoHS compliant. Pulling only one amp of power, the tool is also energy efficient. Complete kit contains one variable-speed Grinder and one each of the following accessories: coarse Carbide Disc, 60-, 120-, and 240-grit Flap Discs, fiberglass Cutoff Wheel, and an eight-tooth Standard Saw Chain Disc.
