Diecast model of a military helicopter Ka-29. Ka-29 shipboard helicopter is a transport/attack model. Made its first flight in July 1976. Given NATO reporting name Helix-B , it entered service with Northern and Pacific Fleets 1985. Armed for day/night tranport and close support of seaborne assault troops. Used by Experimental Combat Group in Chechen War 1996. Currently in service in countries incl.Ukraine, Russia, Vietnam, South Korea, China and India. Model packed in blister.
