How to use?
1 Soak the moon cup with boiling water for 3 minutes, and we advice to try it in your own bathroom for the first time.
2 Everytime you should use soap to clean hands and use water to clean the cup firstly. If you like to use soap to clean cup, make sure to clean out the soap bubbles thoroughly, avoid vaginal infections.
3 Squat down or lift one leg or lie on the floor, with legs apart. Relaxed, don t tense the pelvic muscles (muscle used to stop and start urinating)
4 Put finger into vagina to locate the cervix (a small, slimy piece and there is small indentation in the middle).
5 Fold the cup (C-fold, or inside fold), use your one hand hold the cup (pole down), use another hand to push it into vagina at 45 degree angle, until you feel comfortable.
6 Ensure the cup is fully opened and has been aligned with cervix. If it does not open, gently rotate the cup. Also you can gently pull it down a little, to ensure there is a vacuum.
7 If you have a large amount, please clean it frequently, 12 hours is the maximum time. For the first time, you need to test how often to clean up the cup (best to take sanitary pads)
How to take out?
1 Active your vagina so that the cup can slide down until you can touch the pole, hold the cup bottom to take it out (make sure the cup is upward to prevent leakage). You also can fold it, then take it out slowly.
2 Pour out blood, clean the cup with water, especially the cup hole, fill in water, then cover it with palm, squeeze water out from the hole. After water dried reinsert it.
3 After menstrual period, clean the cup again with boiling water/disinfectant tablets etc.
