Herman Miller recruited co-designer Don Chadwick to reexamine—in the context of today s work and technology—the original criteria that led him and Bill Stumpf to design Aeron. With stronger, smarter materials, better adjustment capabilities, and new finish options, Herman Miller didn t redesign the Aeron chair—they premastered it. Herman Miller s commitment to human-centered design is evident in Aeron s three sizes, which provide a personalized fit for more people than any other office chair. Guided by a height-weight ratio, Herman Miller recommends Size C for people between 5 3" and 6 6" in height and weighing between 180 and 300 pounds. People with body types outside that range should consider Size A or B chairs. The chair comes with Posture Fit SL, a total back support system anchored at the base of the spine—or sacrum. The 8Z Pellicle suspension seat and back is divided into eight zones of varying tension that cradle and support the body. The Graphite color palette is an update of the classic Aeron look.
