Harley-Davidson, Inc. is an American motorcycle manufacturer, started by William S. Harley, Arthur Davidson, Walter Davidson, and William A. Davidson in 1903. It was founded in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and was one of two major American motorcycle manufacturers to survive the Great Depression.
