No two motions are the same - that’s why we’ve designed Keen so you train it for YOUR specific behavior, like hair pulling (trichotillomania), skin picking (dermatillomania), nail biting or thumb sucking. Training Keen with our iOS or Android app takes less than 30 seconds. After that, you can ditch your phone. All the gesture detection capabilities are right on the smart bracelet - but our app does have some cool features to help you adjust Keen’s sensitivity, track your behavior and more. When Keen senses your hand movements, it sends a gentle vibration to help you build your awareness muscles and take control of unwanted behaviors. This vibration is like a “hug” around your wrist that helps wake you up so you can make positive change in your life. We’ve also thoughtfully designed Keen so it blends in if you’re not ready to share, but our team’s mission is to speak out and end the stigma around these behaviors. You can also connect more than one bracelet to the app, in case you need one for each hand. Keen was born out of personal necessity - our founder started hair pulling in her teens.
