The story of Fozlock begins with Central California plumber/inventor and a restaurant chain with an ongoing problem of hooligans and vagrants turning on faucets and leaving them running. After the inventor installed many different devices, each being removed or bypassed the same night, he started prototyping his own faucet locking device. The first hand-made Fozlock prototypes were in massive demand because they worked. And, not only did they work on regular faucets, they also worked on faucets with installed anti-syphon devices. Upon further testing, the inventor also realized that by adding both internal and external insulation, the device could also be used as part of an overall system to prevent faucet freeze. No other devices in this class achieve this goal.
