Introducion:
Excelvan Multi-function detector can be used to detect and locate wood, beams, metal, AC wires and voids. As soon as the edge of a stud、metal、deep or AC electrical wires has been detected, an audio and visual signals (via LCD, displaying series of arrowheads) will be send out, thus, allowing you to easily pinpoint the center. As you begin to approach the stud, the LCD shows series of arrowheads, the closer to the stud the more arrowheads shows.
It has 4 detecting modes: Stud, metal, deep and AC
In the AC mode, only live electrical lines which carry 230V, 50Hz will be detected. Lightning symbol shows on the display. If electrical lines are shielded by metal cladding, use the Metal mode. Most wires in homes are run along wall studs, causing potential safety hazards.
