QL800 module supports SMS,MMS and the GPRS connection and its kernel is SIM800 and SIM800A. Users use the standard AT commands to control it, in fact,you can send a text message in both English and Chinese, voice calls, and links to GPRS by sending a few AT commands.
GPRS can be a TCP or UDP link, linked directly by IP or domain name and also can be set to be transparent transmission mode.
This module provides a standard RS232 interface (DB9 female interface), which can be directly connected to the PC and other embeddable devices and then sending the AT command through a serial port, at this time you can send messages and make a call.
Whatever the control system of the control end (upper computer) is, such as Windows, LINUX or other real-time operating system, or even no system such as PLC and SCM, as long as you can control a serial port to send and receive data, you can use this module.

Module function characteristics:
1. This board is equipped with serial port electric level conversion chip, the serial port is drawn by RS32 interface and connected to computer directly, then you can test this board on computer.
2. Wide input voltage range: DC 5-15V, this board is so flexible that it can accept different power supply voltage of the system. Usually, we suggest to use 5 v. There is also a 5.5 * 2.1 DC005 reserved power interface.
3. This board is designed with SMA antenna interface, which will make the antenna solid and not easy to fall off .
4. the 95% of the users mobile phone cards are small cards, so we adopt small cards for this module.
