Great, but there are SO many tools, how do you use each?
• Double loop extractor: Shaped like a stretched out oval. Designed to apply light pressure to the skin to release the comedone. Place gently on top of the comedone and rock the tool back and forth to build pressure and concentrate sebum in one location. There are 4 different sizes included in the iElegance kit. Use the size best suited to the size of the comedone.• Angled double loop extractor: Shaped like a double loop extractor but at a slight angle. Designed to function similarly but for harder to reach areas.
• Spoon shaped extractor: Shaped like a small spoon with a hole in the middle. Designed to fit over blackhead and when pressed down with light pressure, results in excretion of the blackhead.
• Lancet: Shaped like a sharp, pointed arrow. Used to pick mature pimples that have developed a head.
• Single loop extractor: Shaped like a fine hollow circle. Used to press onto comedone and extract impurities. Can be used for harder to reach areas e.g. side of the nose.
How to use:
• Step 1: Sterilise tools with alcohol or hot water.• Step 2: Prep your face by cleansing with lukewarm water. Or hold a warm damp cloth to the area for a few minutes to open up pores.
• Step 3: Using the double loop extractor, gently place on top of the pimple and rock back and forth to build pressure or concentrate sebum / dirt.
• Step 4: Gently press down on one side of the pimple using the single loop extractor, move the tool across the top (you may need to adjust the angle. Applying even pressure, slide the edge of the loop and the pimple is removed).
• Step 5: Cleanse your skin again, then apply toner and moisturizer.
• Step 6: Disinfect tools with alcohol.
