This set of FOURTEEN colors makes an awesome starter set or multi-color restock for any candle maker. You get 14 different colors each with a half ounce block of each dye color (7 ounces total). This are not just a few chips--they are full blocks of dye. This makes a great selection of colors. This is enough coloring to make anything from 25 to 200 lbs of candles depending on how dark you want and whether you are using soy or paraffin wax.

Sampler Colors included are Red, Green, Brown, Orange, Yellow, Blue, Purple, Black, Pink, Teal, Lime, Lavender, Forest Green, & Blackberry. Have fun mixing a couple colors to make new ones. For example, "orange + blue=brown".

Notes: You will need to use 2x more dye for soy wax than for paraffin wax to get the same shade. For soy wax, try one-eighth block for 1 lb. wax and then keep adding/testing for the shade you want. For paraffin wax, start with one-eighth block for 2lbs. Wax etc. Use two times as much for medium color. Use three times as much for dark color.
