The top handle is quick release designed with a male cold shoe adapter at the bottom, great for carrying the unit and especially for filming one handed. It features plenty of 1/4 -20 mounting holes for various configurations. A cold shoe is attached to the back of the handle via two included 1/4"-20 screws (the adjustable distance between 2 screws is 9mm-20mm), suitable for any accessory with a shoe extender adapter. Its two screws to secure design could prevent deviation, so that the accessory attached can t be accdentially displaced. You could hold comfortably with the wood covered grip while shooting.
