* Derived from two amide-forming ingredients: hexamethylene diamine and adipic acid (each has 6 atoms).
* Tensile yield strength of 9,000 psi.
* Izod impact strength of 2.1 ft. lbs. per inch of notch depth.
* Flexural modulus of elasticity of 175,000 psi.
* Working temp. range from -40°F (-40°C) to 185°F (85°C).
