Brinsea Mini Advance Egg Incubator Class Set

Brinsea egg incubator class set is used for study of incubation and embryology. The set’s incubator has fully automatic egg turning and autostop features for maintaining embryo health. A microcontroller manages all incubator functions, including temperature, temperature alarms, days to hatch, and turning status, through a menu on the digital display. The incubator’s adjustable temperature is preset for ease of use. The set also contains a cordless egg scope for viewing live embryos, a brooder to warm chicks, and a plastic chicken enclosure, feeder, and drinker for post-hatching care. Additional pieces include instructions and a lesson plan on CD-ROM for classroom use, incubation disinfectant concentration for cleaning, and a list of fertile egg suppliers. The incubator’s egg chamber has clear sides for enhanced visibility, and includes a rotating disk with capacity for seven hen or duck eggs, or eggs up to 65.0mm in length. (A rotating disk for 12 smaller eggs, such as pheasant or quail, is sold separately.) The cabinets of the incubator, scope, and brooder are made of antimicrobial polyurethane plastic for durability and resistance to bacterial contamination. Polyurethane is nonconductive and has good abrasion, chemical, and UV radiation resistance. It is also resistant to oil, weather, ozone, heat, electricity, tearing, and various chemicals. The introductory-level set is suitable for younger students.
