The BB830 + SB830 BreadBoard Kit is a 830 connection point Solderless Plug-In BreadBoard plus a matching SB830 Solderable PC BreadBoard. The SB830 Solderable PC BreadBoard enables you to transfer your circuit and wires from the BB830 plug-in BreadBoard without recutting wires or changing your layout. It has the advantage that soldered joints provide a more reliable long-term connection than solderless contacts. The SB830 has four power rails like the solderless BreadBoard, plus two bonus rails for power or signals. There are bonus two-hole pads along the centerline allowing DIL (dual in-line) headers to be used. A top side silkscreen helps to position components. Four mounting holes allow your projects to be secured. BPS uses high-quality FR4 glass epoxy PCBs for long life, with an anti-tarnish protective coating for easy soldering. BPS boards are Lead-Free and RoHS Compliant. The BB830 has a housing made of white ABS plastic, with a printed legend giving numbers and letters for columns and rows. It has four power rails. The internal contacts are phosphor bronze with a plated nickel finish. A peelable adhesive tape backing is provided for attaching it to a surface and an optional metal back plate is provided. Solderless breadboards are great for building and testing new circuits because parts can be easily inserted and removed; they are completely re-usable.
