When the biometric lock mechanism is activated by a stored fingerprint, the hydraulic door system opens the safe s door for easy access to stored items. The safe can also be opened using the supplied special-access keys. Security features include heavy metal construction and a motorized deadbolt lock. The safe also has pre-drilled holes for mounting into the floor, or on a shelf or counter top for extra security.
