These BAFX Products® hiking pole snow / sand, disks / baskets, are a direct replacement for the snow disks that come with the BAFX Products® hiking poles.
Snow disks (also known as baskets) screw onto the bottom of your hiking poles (with the dome part facing the sky) and are used to help prevent the poles from sinking too quickly into the soft ground covering such as snow, sand or mud. If you will be hiking through such terrain the use of these disks is highly recommended for a much more pleasant hiking experience!
These snow disks are designed to fit the BAFX Products® hiking poles. They may fit other brands of hiking poles but we cannot, in anyway shape or form, promise that they will fit any other particular brand. The threading on different brands of poles may prevent these from properly being installed.
