Apimaye beehives have insulation so bees can maintain the temperature in the hive easily. Since they are insulated, the food consumption is lower during the winter months. Spring build up is faster and the survival is higher. When your bees thrive in the spring, you can divide the colony, or add another super on the top of your Apimaye Ergo beehive set to keep it growing. This is a standard Langstroth 10 frame size deep super. The deep super has the same Apimaye insulation and the latching mechanism. It is easy to load and carry. Please note that this set includes 10 plastic handy frames. The frames can only be used with wax foundation. The wax foundation is NOT included and needs to be purchased separately. The frames will not work with plastic foundation as they are too thick.
