The pivoting shank can be locked into straight-out and either 45- or 90-degree-angle positions, offering an easy approach to difficult-to-reach screws or extra leverage for bearing down on a nut with one of the sockets. The kit includes three square-drive bits, seven Phillips-head bits, eight hex bits, two clutch bits, six Torx-drive bits, and four slotted bits, as well as longer nos. 1 and 2 Phillips bits and two longer slotted bits. You get nine standard sockets, from 3/16 to 1/2 inch, and nine metric sockets, from 5 to 13 mm, along with two 1/4-inch socket-drive adapters. To complete the fastening cornucopia, Allied has included 2-1/4- and 4-inch bit-holder extensions. We really like the tough carrying case it all comes in, which has a perfect place for everything.
