Description
The Aiphone IE-2AD Chime Tone single- or double-door intercom system master handset works with door intercoms and sub-master handsets (sold separately) to enable semi-private communication with visitors prior to authorizing access to the building with the door release button. The handset connects to up to two door intercoms to monitor multiple entrances, and works with up to two sub-master handsets to extend coverage to multiple rooms or large areas. A call from the door intercom activates a volume-adjustable two- or four-tone chime and LED indicator on the master handset. The door-release button works with an electric strike (sold separately) to remotely unlock the entrance for the visitor. When sub-masters are connected, visitor calls ring all handsets and can be transferred between handsets. Master and sub-master handsets support internal calling.
