Our adaptor enables you to connect new powerful slide batteries with a range of old DeWALT XRP powertools 18-20 volt. It fits both small and large batteries. There are NO parasitic current draw. You plug the adaptor into the battery slot in your machine and slide the batteries from DeWALT into the adaptor. The adaptor is made in Denmark by the original inventors of such adapter. It has been on the Danish market since december 2013. Since it entered the market and was the first adapter for DeWALT XRP tools on the market in 2014. Since it entered the market, thousands of adaptors have been sold in Europe. The adaptor has a unique built-in overload protection and works with all the different amp hour batteries. It will be working with any slide-on 18-20 volt DeWALT battery. Notice: Using the adaptor for heavy jobs for a longer period will cause the temperature of the built-in fuse to raise which will interrupt the power. When everything has cooled down, the adapter can be used again. You can check out the adapter in our video on youtube. The adapter will be working with most of the DeWALT XRP/nano models, but some models need a little modification to make the adapter fit the machine. The mod can be seen in the video starting about 2:15. he adaptor doesn t work with tools that can be used both as a charger and a tool such as the radio or a specific torch. You cannot use the adaptor to charge your slide-on batteries, so you will need an original charger for the slide batteries. The adaptor only works with batteries from DeWALT and not with batteries from other brands. - No charger, battery, bag case or other accessories are included - You should expect to lose all DeWALT warranty when using our adaptor, most of the XRP tools have already lost their warranty because of their age, furthermore we have not had any incidents with broken tools at all. If your tool breaks down and we can conclude that it has been caused by our adaptor we will compensate you for your losses.
